15 Feb: Graeme & Brees

Graeme was born in the UK, but spent a good 30 years living in various parts of the United States including New Orleans and Hawaii. He came back to London in 1999 and has lived in his Gaisford Street flat since. Named after the famous New Orleans quarterback, Brees is gradually overcoming her agoraphobia by way of immersion therapy on the front steps. Kentish Town, London.

Joe immigrated to the UK from Tanzania 35 years ago, and is now proprietor of Maks News Organic Groceries and Confectioners. Peddling delicious vegetarian goods through the store window on market day, Columbia Road Market, London.

11 Feb: Caroline

A born and bred Kentish Towner, Caroline normally works as a learning mentor. Today however, she is out in the cold looking after her friend Tasha's flower stall for a couple of hours in the busy lead up to Valentines Day. Kentish Town, London.

10 Feb: Barry

Originally from New York, Barry is an influential figure in film making and British music television. His contribution to the industry was recognised at the 2011 UK Music Video Awards, where he received the Outstanding Achievement Award. Picking up some fresh prawns from Harry's. 8 Feb: Nuno

Nuno has owned the Wine Cellar deli and specialist Portuguese wine store for the past 8 years.  He hosts tasting evenings about four times a year in the deli basement.

7 Feb: Haz & Raj

Haz & Raj, both 28, are the husband and wife team behind Hazraj Indian Tapas & Tiffin restaurant. Their delicious and affordable menu is heavily influenced by Mumbai street food. Haz grew up in London and is currently also studying legal practice.  Raj, a former boxer, comes from a family of london restauranters.  Kentish Town, London.

6 Feb: Daniel

Daniel, 29, was born in Azerbaijan. He lived in Moscow before coming to London on a student visa ten years ago. While working in various West End kitchens he completing his studies in marketing. For the past six months Daniel has been working at Harry's Butcher and Prime Fishmonger. Kentish Town, London.

Ellis has lived in his Gaisford Street house since arriving in London from Trinidad and Tobago 35 years ago. Clearing the snow from out front and having a laugh with the neighbours. Kentish Town, London
